The Army Reserve Suicide Prevention Campain 2020 Proclamation, which had just been signed by Lt. Gen. Jody J. Daniels, Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General, U.S. Army Reserve Command, and Command Sgt. Maj. Andrew J. Lombardo, Command Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Reserve, states in part “each day we must recognize when someone in our ‘squad’ may be hurting, at risk of self-harm or doing harm to others. We must take quick and appropriate actions to provide the needed resources in order to save lives. As we pause to raise awareness to the importance of suicide prevention, let us also remember those squad members we have lost to suicide and the loved ones they left behind.”
